To do this, the device scans all documents and directs the operator’s focus to the pages that need to be proofread. This means, you don’t have to inspect all pages and save a lot of time.
What kind of system is the EyeC ProofBook?
The EyeC ProofBook is a combination of the modern technology of a duplex scanner and an automatic feeder. This system can automatically perform print sample checks for multi-page brochures and leaflets. All you have to do is cut off the spine and place the pages in the feeder for scanning. These are then compared page by page with the approved multi-page PDF proof. This is possible for formats from DIN A6 to DIN A3 with up to 600 dpi, the feeder can hold up to 200 pages with 35 to 126 g/m2.
During the inspection process, faulty pages are identified, and all deviations are listed and displayed in an automatically generated inspection report. This makes checking multi-page documents much easier and faster.
